TO ALL OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND FRIENDS
It is with deep regret that I have decided to close Varona’s, effective immediately.
Although my staff and I have tried very hard to adjust to the unusual and challenging economy, it has become increasingly difficult to continue operating.
It is especially sad for me to let go of a dream that I have had for many years, that of bringing a different dining experience to the Pensacola area and sharing my Cuban heritage with all of you.
Words are inadequate to show my appreciation for the support all of you have shown me, the memories of Cuba some of you have shared with me and the dream of visiting Cuba many of you have expressed to me.
If you have made reservations for a future date, we will be in touch with you to help you make other arrangements. If you have purchased a gift certificate, we will be more than happy to reimburse you if you present it at our office located in the rear of the building.
It has been a pleasure to meet and serve so many good and generous people. I wish you a happy holiday and a healthy and productive new year.
